Matiyash Pavel

CEO of Activitis, a financial company specializing in financing small and medium-sized businesses in Ukraine. He has over 16 years of experience in management positions in both large corporate and medium-sized businesses.

Joined the Activitis team in 2019 as Deputy Director for Business Development, and later in 2020 headed the company.

Worked in banks with foreign capital (OTP Bank, Raiffeisen Bank) in the structuring and project finance departments, where he later headed these departments. He was the executive director of one of the banking associations in Ukraine. From 2012 to 2019, he managed and developed medium-sized businesses in the field of trade in household goods, and was also a partner in a boutique investment company that was engaged in M&A transactions and raising financing for Ukrainian businesses. He has experience as a financial analyst and local consultant in the Ministry of Finance, WNISEF, IBRD.

He received an economic education at the Kyiv-Mohyla Academy and the National Institute for Strategic Studies.
