How Strila Farm Gained Confidence in the Season Thanks to WEAGRO Agricultural Installment Plan

September 3, 2025

Strila Farm, established in 2000, has been successfully operating on Ukrainian lands for over two decades. Under the leadership of Viktor Volodymyrovych Hora, they grow winter wheat, rapeseed, sunflower, corn, and soybeans. The crop rotation is balanced and diverse, allowing them to maintain soil fertility and achieve stable yields.

Spring Sowing Challenge

In spring 2025, the enterprise faced a typical agribusiness problem – an urgent need for fuel. Fuel was needed urgently and in large quantities, as all spring field work directly depended on it. The traditional approach – turning to banks – required time and documents, which the farmer didn’t have during the peak season.

New Tool for Agribusiness

The solution was found through the partner company Carefield, where Viktor Volodymyrovych first heard about the online agricultural installment service WEAGRO. After quickly signing the contract, within a few days, the farm received quality diesel fuel from WOG – with a three-month payment deferral.

“At WEAGRO, the managers explained everything and helped with document preparation. We immediately understood that we could start the spring campaign without risk,” recalls the head of Strila Farm.

Working at Maximum Capacity

Having received the necessary resources, the farm conducted sowing not in “economy mode” but at full capacity as planned. The results were quick to follow:

  • sunflower and corn yields exceeded expectations;
  • the farm was able to fully load its own grain storage facility with a capacity of 8,000 tons;
  • additionally, an opportunity emerged to provide transport services to other enterprises, as about 2 tons of diesel fuel were used daily.

Result and Advice to Colleagues

“We have often worked with banks and know all their requirements well. But WEAGRO is something new and truly convenient. Here, the farmer takes no risks: you get the fuel, do the work, harvest the crops, and then pay from the profits. Therefore, I encourage colleagues to save working capital and take advantage of the agricultural installment option,” Viktor Volodymyrovych concludes.

The experience of Strila Farm shows that WEAGRO’s agricultural installment plan is not just a financial instrument, but real support for agribusiness. It allows farms to secure everything necessary on time, avoid financial risks, and focus on what matters most – growing crops.
