Organic farming has ceased to be a niche direction. It’s no longer just about environmental friendliness \u2014 it’s about the economy of the future. Ukraine has unique conditions for the development of this sector: fertile soils, favorable climate, and growing interest from European markets in organic products. <\/p>\n\n

Despite this, the path to developing the organic sector remains challenging. It requires not only technologies but also trust, certification, financial instruments, and stable support policies. For a farmer who is just considering this direction, the main question is not whether it’s worth it<\/em>, but how and when<\/em>. <\/p>\n\n

Current State of Organic Production in Ukraine<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n

According to “Organic Standard”, as of 2025, there are over 500 certified producers<\/strong> of organic products in Ukraine, and the total area of certified land exceeds 400 thousand hectares<\/strong>.
